Hey Lee; I was using my Canon 5D MKII set at a very high ISO of 1600 so I didn't need to use a flash. This gave me a good range from f4 to f8 while still maintaining descent shutter speeds around 1/60s. I had used my Rebel XT in the past with very good results as well at the higher ISO...
