i've got some of those heavier bar end weights,stock can with cables,and a stock windscreen.i'm just lookin to clean out.the stuffs heavy.maybe 2omebody in southeast texas needs it?$50 for the weights,$50 for the can,windscreen $10.
i had a first year 2003 xb9s.i still regret gettin rid of that bike.super cool ride and i never eally had any issues in 16000 miles.sorry to see them go under but you could see it coming.
i like my 09.runs great,the bar shape sucks,looks good.the only beef i have the handlebar is shaped funny and causes my right hand to go to sleep after a short time.i'm gonna try some gel grips and then a different handlebar.i never keep a bike much over 2 years or so anyway,so i'm sure the next...
the only thing i might say is watch the exhaust mount,the circular straps that wraps around the can.broke 2 straps on the 2 brothers exhaust i had on my 919.never did figure out why.sold the exhaust then the bike.
it's really easy once you get it unbolted.it took me a little while to rig a license plate light,that was the worst part.i used a Graves fender eliminator.
my 08's got 8400 miles.bought february 08.i worked a bunch at work so the miles are low.i've probably got maybe 50,000 miles on different bikes in the last 10 years since i got back to riding serious.
if u drain the oil on the centerstand and fill it up with the recommended amount it'll be over full.loosen the drain plug on the centerstand if u need to but it's gotta be on the sidestand for all the old oil to drain out.i did it twice seein as i'm too hard headed to get the idea the 1'st...

i got mine for $9226 OTD.texas tax and such,6.25%.that was in early february.i think they needed a sale and i just hit em right.8500 plus tax and sundries i think it was.they had said 9600 a couple months before.
just installed a Holeshot 14" black street slip-on from Dale Walker.Fit perfect,love the sound so far,not too loud like some,well made.thats just my $.02 though.i wanted a Graves but i just couldn't justify the extra dough just for looks.
