It has about 6000 miles on it. It does pop a bit on deceleration but not very loudly and I enjoy the sound.

I'm pretty sure I have the same slip on. I will be interested to see what it looks like what you get it apart. Please post some pictures for us. Mine is a little over a year old and I have been very pleased with it.

I had a nail in my original rear tire. I took it to a local tire store and had it plugged. There was never an issue with the plug and I replaced the tire when worn out at 10,000 miles. I would not hesitate to have another one plugged if I needed to.

Odometer went to 10,000 miles and replaced the tires with Pirelli Angels. Ready for the next 10k.

Delkevic CF tri-oval I installed my new slip on. I had already posted that I really like the sound with the baffle in, too loud for me without it.

I just put the Delkevic CF Tri-oval muffler to my 2009 FZ1. I didn't notice a performance difference but it looks much better than stock and weighs 5 1/2 pounds with the midpipe. I have not weighed the stock muffler but we all know it is quite heavy. I like the sound and would describe it as...

Eric, Do you have the popping on deceleration with your Delkevic? Have you done the AIS block off? I would like to get that huge muffler of the bike but only for cosmetics. I have plenty of power from the factory for an old man! Thanks

I had my rear tire plugged. I didn't think it was the absolute best option but I wasn't going to buy a new tire while out of town. I want to have it replaced by my local shop but I'm going to ride on it until it is more nearly used up.

I also use Fuelly. My average is about 38 mpg which has gone down since I have been working lots of hours and driving about 7 miles a day. That will kill your mileage. Stupid Fast (Yamaha FZ1) | Fuelly

36 mpg is about right for your bike. These are not built for economy. My average is 39.5 mpg. I ride a bit conservatively and spend most miles driving between NE Georgia and southern Tennessee. My worst mileage was 31 and my best ever was 44.4 Hope you enjoy your bike as much as I do mine.

Toluene is available at Ace hardware under their brand name "Tolulol." I bought some a couple years ago. Will our bikes run well without the flies being in there? Why even have them if they are not needed? What are they for?
