Here's a pic of the FZ6 I bought. Already changed the oil and lubed the chain. Tommorrow I'll get my endorsement and It's off to the open roads! Thanks again for the helpful info guys!

Made my purchase. Bought the fz6. 3g's. It'll be delivered tomorrow, seeing as I don't have my license. It'll be more rewarding finishing the class on wednesday knowing that I'll have a classy bike waiting for me when I get home. Already picked up my helmet, gloves and jacket at the motorcycle...

Taking the 2 day course starting Tuesday. I'll have my license then. Getting excited to ride the beautiful twisty roads of Washington state!

Thanks for all the info guys. I've now set my sights on a 2007 fz6 with 12k miles for $3000. Going to look at it tomorrow.

Hey guys, Newbie here from Washington state. I've just got into riding recently and was wondering if an fz1 is a good choice for a first bike. I'm a bigger guys at over 250 lbs and 6'5". I've also looked at 600cc bikes but i'm just afraid i'll end up wanted to upgrade to more power before...
