Now you guys made go look at my notes...almost 800 fuel trips and 72 service records
And now that I looked on the Fuelly site, a large % of the records reported are from me :D
I have a friend who just sold a 2007 R1 and sure enough with 20 miles the rotor let go. Thankfully the new owner shut the bike down immediately so all the shit was stuck to the stator. He's replacing the stator, rotor, rectifier and multiple oil changes.
Do you have a factory service manual for the element.. because I do.
In fact, because I don't need it anymore, I'm going to bring it with me now
I also have a new Walker cat, and the complete front inner fender liner set available
I won't say I'll be driving through Winchester Saturday around noon, but...
And if you think that is part of the oil / water pump combo - could it be a weep hole for the water pump to let the owner know the water pump shit the bed?
I know the general consensus is that a timing chain should last the life of the engine, but how many of us are almost at 100k miles and still haven't thought about changing the timing chain? I ask because I'm about to order a valve cover gasket for an upcoming valve adjustment and was wondering...
Big shout out to PJ who had, probably, the last Suono in stock in the country. The GP carbon that I had on there for almost 100,000 miles has definitely seen better days
I'm in the market for a new slip-on pipe as my mivv GP carbon has finally worn out at the rivets. I would like to get another MiVV GP or suono so that it fits the mid pipe properly, but I can't find anybody online (other than eBay) that list them as being in stock.
Does anybody have any leads...
Bad plugs (extremely doubtful)?
The only wires shared between all 4 coils is a Red/ black stripe wire. Cyl 3 uses a Orange / green stripe and Cyl 4 uses a Gray / green stripe to go back to the ECU.
At least according to the color wiring diagram I'm using.
I'm a fan of everything - except those Nilights. I've had to many fill with water, even after disassembly when brand new and siliconing every seam.
Also, what would of been really slick: instead of the red EL wire...use amber and have that be the rear turn signals.
