It sounds like oil seals are moving. Did you use original or aftermarket seals?
Last time I serviced my forks I used SKF and they were a bit thinner so I had to put some shims under so there is no free space.
Replacing bushings on this fork in not easy. Bushings are not on the inner tubes like...
That's not true. You can replace the bushings. It is not easy though. I replaced mine recently. Fork works way better now. You have to knock them out of the outer tubes. K-tech makes replacement bushings. Also, some year R1 uses the same bushings. I know a guy who bought R1 bushings and used...
View is much worse than stock, but it is acceptable for me. If you ride a lot in a heavy traffic it can be annoying. If you want to try, this mirrors are cheap, not original kawasaki but some aftermarket replacement.
Mirrors are from Ninja ZX-10R 1000 (04-07). They are the same for bunch of kawasaki models. You don't have to adapt anything. Just bolt them on.

I trimmed down my MRA Racing windshield a bit and installed Kawa ZX10 mirrors to match lower windshield. Sorry for the mess, but the yard is kinda under construction.
Yes, replacements are available. Found it on ebay a while ago. Not original but aftermarket. Search 'fuel pump strainer'. I think it fits also from some Honda CBR.
Very good write up.
