Woah! a follow up! I bought the tag relocator and it's slick as hell. It attaches to 2 of the three stock bolt holes for the chain guard. I also bought motodynamics integrated tail light to handle the turn signals. ps. I am a big chicken.

I'm moving into a new home in Round Rock, TX and saw a silver gen I FZ1 at the fire station. I'll try and snap a pic next time I'm by there. Anyone claim it?

At this point, it's ridiculous to believe it would make it this far. But I stood in line once for black friday sales, so I'll ask for the forth shot at it.

I'll try to get some video/pics this weekend. I still love the way it looks. I love all the sounds it makes. I ride to work 4 days out of the week usually. I have not had any hot boot problems. The performance loss is kind of bugging me though...

found one for the fz1

I found some that had an angle to them which would make them point at the ground less, but while diggin around I found something that might be cooler. Anyone know if they make these for the FZ1? (I haven't found such a thing)

Oh well, at least it looks clean as hell.

I'm thinking about getting something like this to use as a tail tidy. EBAY Says it fits the fz1, but I cant imagine that thing mounted with the angle of the swing arm and such. Thoughts?

Here's the finished product. I used all 6 discs and its plenty loud, but may be suffering in the mid-band. Will try doing 5 discs tomorrow. Mostly very happy with the updated look. everyone at work says its looks badass.

Chopped the muffler off, will take to shop in the morning.

oh sorry. I think maybe I don't want to spend a bunch of money going down this road. I really can't assemble an ABS system on my own. I should have bought a bike with ABS from the factory. I've never heard of anyone retrofitting an ABS system to a bike. That explains why I don't see kits to...
