Yup FZ8 Risers fit perfectly, I have some fitted, I also used FZ8 Bars - call me stupid, but I really prefer the 'old school' look of the bars, I rode the FZ8 at Silverstone last month and for some reason the bike just 'felt' more natural than the high risers on the FZ1, I have checked the hand...

I own 2008 FZ1-N ABS with Ivans FCE, Arrow Headers, Mivv Carbon, Pirelli Diablo Corsa's, Valmoto Rearsets etc. I was with Yamaha at Silverstone ( Stowe Circuit ) last month and rode the FZ8 N & Faired, R1, FZ1S etc. The FZ8 IS a great bike, the difference in fairing makes no difference !

A friend inside Yamaha has confirmed to me last week that it will be late 2013 before we see Gen 3, this is all he can tell me, so far. That is all, but at least it comes from a very good source.

I agree, I fitted Arrow headers a few months back - you can see them in the September BOTM pics - beautiful - and although un-dyno'd as yet, I am really very impressed by the result. I am a Sales Manager for a Yamaha bike dealer here in the UK, so I am not easily impressed with 'the latest'...

Great. Language not important, watched with awe and admiration for great engineering, well done. I have been in the Motorcycle business for a long time, and know when I am seeing something done properly, and this was. Looking forward to seeing 2012 mods... RDZ.

Oddly, I have just refitted my standard seat because I think it may be more comfortable ( for me ) than the Yamaha 'Comfort Seat' I also have....:teeter:

Rizoma were the expensive ( but beautiful ) option, or maybe Gilles, but I thought I would give these a try, and I am very happy with the result so far.

I have just fitted a set of these Valter Moto Rearsets ( Type 1 - non adjustable ) to my 2008 FZ1 NA. Very impressed with the price under £200, and easy ( even for me.. ) fitting. Have a look, I chose Black Anodised, they also offer Silver if that is what ya' want. Definate improvement (...

Arai RX7 GP for me, fits very well once I custom ordered some different thickness pads, a beautiful helmet. The downsides are A - Weight, compared to top line Shoei helmets the Arai is noticeably heavier and B - Aerodynamics, again Shoei for ultra high speed riding ( 120MPH plus ) much less...

Standard Part on the ABS model - You can buy them for £206 here in the UK, need to check fitting kit though. :)
