I broke my clutch cable yesterday, where is the cheapest place to get one? I looked on ebay but they only had ones for a gen 1. WOuld they fit a gen 2, would a r1 cable fit a gen 2? thanks :rmwl:

i have one on my bike, it needed a little help to fit but other than that it ran good, and picked up some power in the upper end

I have a cheap one too, i think is was from danmoto.The biggest problem was the pipe wasnt quite bent enough for the can to miss the swing arm. I had to "adjust" the braket a little to make it work

how does this mod compare to removing them totally or zip tying them open?

mine put down 133 stock, i have a cheapo can too, i just didnt get around to installing it yet

7900 miles, its a 07, but i bought it aug of 08 new.

I was just lookin at getting a front wheel, i got small dent in mine and a crack is forming. I want to change it before i start up for the season. I know some of the r1 and fz1 wheels are the same. Every # in the p.n.

My clutch hangs up a lot too, even with fresh oil. When i put it in 1st gear from n it bangs pretty good. When the bike is parked in 1st gear, and i pull in the clutch to roll it around, i have to push pretty hard to break it free, then it rolls ok.

would wheels off a r6 work on our bike? the p.n. is almost the same.

On my bike, when i had it on the dyno the engine hit the rev limiter at about 161 on the dyno, and the speedo said 181. The tach said 12250, and the dyno showed 11750 rpm
