Hi all, riding to Cabo for Christmas and doing a lot of slab. Looking for one of those really really big gen 2 screens. I'm in Sacramento California. Thanks!
No I went on August 22. Wasn't as fast as you by the sounds of things. I wasn't able to do consistent 10s but a high 10 was my best for the day. Definitely got me interested in track days. Sucks about your crash.
Not sure how much touring of nocal you've done but should go for a ride sometime...
Sweet! Even sweeter if that was your first time there.
Did t hill for the first time this year and had a blast. The fz1 was great, foot pegs were the only real issue I had with the fz1.
Have you looked at suburban machinery bars? I run them and they are pretty sweet. Closer to super sport but with a couple of extra inches height so no fatigue.

From my experience with people who go big early, they soft foot around initially whilst they are scared of the bike. After a while they get used to the power and find they can easily keep up...
Another sacramentoean on a FZ.
I agree with others more seat time helps. I got a Corbin seat and new bars and it was fine doing the four sierra passes in a day.
I ride with the local sac group of which a few have fzs. Let me know if you ever want to ride and get more seat time!
