I finally got the suspension sorted out with help from a friend. The ride is so much better now and I will see what it is like on my trip to Indy. I agree at low speeds the bike is heavy but once you get going she really moves.
Well first big difference so far is the suspension, the rear shock seems a bit weak. I am having trouble setting rebound etc. It seemed my FZ1 was easier to set up
Well everyone I have sold my FZ and got a 2012 FJR.
I have enjoyed my time here with the forum and I'm very grateful for all the help I have received from it's members.
Ride safe and keep the Rubber side down.
I am looking at buying a 2012 FJR 1300 and I was wondering if anyone here had one and could give me tips on what to look for on a used bike. I am having bad back problems at the moment and I don't want a cruiser and I am told the FJR is comfortable for long rides.
I had carpel tunnel problems and got a set of 1in up and 1 1/4 back from Ebay. The cables were right on there limit but still ok. I ended up having an operation on my hand so contact me if you are interested in the ones I have sitting here.
