I've got this one and would not recommend it. Not thrilled with the quality for $100+. It's heavy. And the zippers are cheap. The sleeves do come off, but it's a hassle to use them, so I took them off. Without the sleeves the fit is not great. I use it as my commuter pack and got it for...
I'm interested to hear about other owners' security measures. Presently I have to park my motorcycles outside in the driveway and only have a cover to keep people guessing. I'm looking for ideas to improve security, and am curious to hear about specific types of locks, cameras, alarms, etc...
I've had my 2007 FZ1 for less than a month and now I have two deep gouges (down to the metal) on my gas tank. Here's the story:
I have to park my motorcycles in the driveway next to the trash enclosure, since I live in an apartment above the garage of a house. The garage has been converted...
After three years of paying my insurance company for roadside assistance, I just found out that the motorcycles on my policy are not covered if I need to use the roadside assistance. I'm thinking of joining the AMA to get their motorcycle roadside assistance. At $39 a year for membership...

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I tried the flashing the brake lights and "crazy Ivan" swerving on the way home this evening with some apparent success.
As for the suggestions that may piss someone off, i.e. tossing nails, coins, etc., that would definitely be satisfying. However...
What strategy (preferably friendly) do you use to get drivers to give you more space when just gunning it to escape is not an option? I have commuted on CA freeways in heavy traffic for years and continue to struggle with cars driving too close.
The guy had 7 bikes plus a plane in his garage/airplane hanger! He had two Harleys, a Triumph Tiger 800, a KLR 650, a Honda Goldwing, a Suzuki GZ250 (for his wife), and the FZ1. Too many bikes/toys, so little time. Wouldn't we all like to have that problem?
Good advice. I've had that same thought. I can't believe the seller paid $800 for that ugly turtle shell. I mean there isn't even a live turtle inside.
The seller also included a brand new set of Dunlop Sportmax Q2 tires that I would like to sell. I'm Michelin Pilot Road fan.
