You would be better off running them straight off the battery with a relay from some other switched circuit. If you think you might be installing other aftermarket electrical accessories (heated grips, phone charger, etc.) you should consider some sort of fuse block. You can put one together...

Interesting perspective. One of the first changes I made to my FZ1 was changing to bar end mirrors. I didn't feel that the stock mirrors gave me enough visibility, especially behind me. Once that was done, I shortly decided to switch to Proton flush mounts because the stock signals looked odd...

Received a surprise delivery yesterday! New BMC air filter. Installed it (almost upside-down, but I got that straightened out). Took the better part of an hour, not because of any difficulties, but because I told my nine-year-old that he could help. It was more about bonding than mechanics.
