    Satans666 R1 shock adaptor for FZ1 Gen 2...!

I tried as well to get on the other site but it was a "no go". Even when it was up, it still took a while for him to respond. I eventually got a hold of him and got my adapter. I'll try and see if I can somehow find his email address.

    Mistery for squid

I would first check and remove your plugs to see the condition. Or while the bike is idling and up to temp, check each header pipe to make sure all the cylinders are firing. Sounds like it is running lean if the pipe looks like it's burning. Check the fuel line under the tank to make sure that...

    Transmission noise

Morning Delbert, I will assume that the chain is clean and lubed. What's the condition of the rear sprocket? Is it the original? Also, have you removed the rear wheel for any reason? Could be just a bit out of alignment. Once a year I remove the front sprocket cover just to clean all the grime...

    2005 Yamaha fz1000 clutch problem

There is definitely a specific order in which the plates are installed. Check out this video. It will give you the order in which the steel plates and fiber plates are installed.

    Hello its me

Hey Delbert! Good to see you back. It shouldn't take you too long to read through all the new threads. It's been kind of slow as of late. Happy top see some of the originals still around the stomping grounds!

    Clutch smell stopped non starter

You should first check that the stator magnets didn't break loose. Remove the brake side engine cover to inspect.

    Help. FZ1 started to Stutter/Sputter

I guess you could test the resistance in the coils, however, some issues with coils only show up at temperature.

    Help. FZ1 started to Stutter/Sputter

Hard to say with no further history. Have you had the tank up for any reason? If so it's possible that the fuel line is kinked which is a common problem. Also, if you have one of those temperature laser guns, just let the bike idle for five or ten minutes and check each exhaust header to see...

    My 1st Bike Is A 2003 FZ1

Congrats on the new ride. What color scheme did you get? The Black/Yellow? Those colors are wicked on that bike.

    2001 FZ1 Front Fork Removal

First Gen Bikes are easy. Just put it up on the center stand, have someone push down on the rear of the bike and slide a regular "gallon size" paint can under the exhaust header and you are ready to work!

Lack of power at low rpm (Yamaha FZ1 2006)

I'd say that aside from the valve inspection, that a throttle body sync is in order by now. That should hopefully cure some of that choppy idle. And I believe that the first valve inspection should have been at 26,000 miles.

    Over flow tank fz1

I am trying to remember my 01' but I believe that it's on the brake side behind the small side panel that's clipped on that side. Right below the seat.

    Speed Error Yamaha FZ1-S 2009

That's the strangest thing. I've never heard about that happening. Error codes sure, but inconsistent speedo never. By chance is the bike stock? Is there anything added such as a Speedo-Healer? Just curious.
