    2025 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

it was shocking to see points left on the track with less than 15 finishing the GP. I don't want to see Marc Hurt - but unless the other riders are willing to shut the door on him and take away his line they are never gonna push him into seeing red and making a mistake. He can put it on cruise...

    2025 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

At least the Q2 Sessions have been exciting to watch and it is not just a Duc dominated affair........ The GP's are getting so boring.... sorry but Marc being back and dominating is bad for the sport... and with no one near him in points due to the stupid sprints he is gonna be uncatchable...

Any recent tire upgrade opinions? / brands / models to stay away from?

In my experience GT stands for Grand Touring - which means the tires are gonna have a stiffer sidewall to deal with heavier loads associated with touring - passengers and bags. I specifically went with the Michelin Road Pilot GT on the rear for latest tire purchase just to get more life out of...

Ran out of Gas - Gauge issue?

Summer blend started a few weeks ago in San Diego - I know instantly because when I cold start it in the morning it takes half the time to warm up to operating temp and starts on the first crank. Winter blend is garbage for Carbureted motors.

Road trip from LA to Oregon on my 2002 FZ1

I hope you have chosen a fun route and are not just blitzing up the 5. I did not do it on my FZ - but my buddies and I did the Saddle Sore Challenge a number of years ago from Oceanside to Grants Pass Oregon.

Ran out of Gas - Gauge issue?

my last three tanks of gas have been fine. I think maybe It was a combination of going fast on winter blend fuel so my MPG was not like it normally is. I was doing 90mph+ commutes that week due to low traffic - normally it is not like that.

    2025 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

Congrats Pecco! Jack Miller is looking so good on the Yamaha. Fabio was great on Saturday, too bad he had to ride his backup bike for the GP - that did look to throw him off a bit.

2004 fz1 will only run with starter plunger pulled

How long do you let it warm up on the Choke (starter plunger) before you disengage the Choke? Do you continue to let it idle and warm up before setting off? I generally need 10-20 seconds of Choke when running on winter blend gas and 2-3 seconds when on Summer blend. After that I need nearly 5...

    2025 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

If the first 2 races are a preview of things to come I am gonna be depressed... Alex sorta put up a fight, but it almost feels like Marc is just toying with his brother. I am now more interested in how well Zarco can make the Honda go around the track. I felt really bad for Fabio... he got...

Ran out of Gas - Gauge issue?

It is possible the float has an issue - I would have to remove the tank and pull the feed assembly out to really know. I wont ride it for a few days cause we have rain this week - but I probably will on Friday.

Ran out of Gas - Gauge issue?

I have 139,000 miles on my Gen 1 - so it is very possible my gas gauge is having a problem. For the first time ever I ran out of gas - but the Gauge said I was at 1/8 of a tank and the light did not come on. My wife rescued me as I was on the freeway a few miles from home. Unfortunately she...

    Tach issue

Super late to this - but my tach started being weird a few years ago. It works fine at idle and when I rev up it holds steady on the correct RPM. But as soon as I let off the gas to slow down the needle drops to the bottom like a rock. Pops right back up as I rev again... Annoying - but it...

The Drixton - What a great story

It was a Honda custom built as a race bike. Not really a bike company.

    2025 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

Why do you not like the Livery? It is a classic!!!!!! IMO the Ai Ogura Livery is the best one on the grid right now. As much of a bummer as it was to see Ducati's taking all the top spots this weekend it was really heartening to see Honda's and Yamaha's in the top 10. Gives me hope...
