    Tragedy in Oakland

Yea, probably a good idea. I doubt your gesturing is going to have any impact on their behavior, but could possibly lead to some bad consequences for all involved.

GIVI or SW Motech side luggage racks

Well not having both I can't say which one would necessarily be "better". I will tell you that I have the Givi mounts and I'm happy with them. I got the removable ones, but I rarely actually remove them. Only takes a few seconds to put on or remove. As far as cutting the underside of the tail...

    Yamaha Online Parts Catalogue

Nice! Wish they had some of the older bikes listed on there. Would have been real handy to cross reference parts for my RZ500 (RD500).

    Gen II Front End Wobble

42 psi might be the max pressure, but I don't see the need to run such a high pressure on the front unless you're carrying the max weight the bike can handle. I usually run 34-36 psi in the front...

    Tragedy in Oakland

Wow what a sad and tragic story...

What's under the hood of this car?

Didn't need to be a blower. If it was indeed a 692 big block then a 200-250 HP shot of N2O would be enough to dispatch that bike :D

    Ivan's Reflash?

Eric you should have sent Michelle's ECU to Ivan's instead of yours so your bike wouldn't have been down ;)

    New Addition to Stable!

Well never officially imported into the US so most of the ones here (and I can't imagine there are that many) came from Canada. It sounds so damn sweet going through the gears...It's intoxicating. Just ask Billy who was following me yesterday during most of our ride :D

Trip To Fly Kitty Motorsports With Tony

I had been wanting to take a ride to Fly Kitty for a long time. Pete always has some really nice bikes there and they are clean. He doesn't sell junk from what I see. The RZ500 made the trip just fine. Although, I forgot to top off the 2-stroke oil reservoir before I left and the oil light came...

    New Addition to Stable!

Well took the bike out for a ride this evening...OMG is all I will say. This bike is not going to be good for my license :D The sound going through the gears is intoxicating. I was surprised at the power in the lower gears ;) Here's a short video of it idling and revving:

    New addition to the garage

Congrats to you and the wife Pete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best addition in the world :D :thewave:

A friend of mine just got a Ducati 1098 I may be in trouble..lol

Well his bike is lighter, but power wise they should be pretty much evenly matched. However, the v-twin makes a lot more torque so he probably has the advantage on the drive out of the corners. Oh and don't try to race him for top speed or he'll own you :D

    Gen 1 Full Exhaust Swap

Ok, good luck. I have the feeling once you remove the stock exhaust (along with the EXUP valve) you're not going to be happy the way it runs on stock jetting. I guess you'll have to try it for yourself...

    New Addition to Stable!

Yea, a set of pipes would be nice :D The wheels are indeed the 16"/18" combo popular during the mid 80s. I have been reading and there are a few 17" wheels and forks that are a straight bolt on. Will have to research that path some more...

    New Addition to Stable!

Well I haven't really ridden the RZ500 yet, but I will probably go with the YZF1000 being my favorite so far. That bike always makes me smile when I take it out for a ride. I have the feeling the RZ500 will do the same :)

    New Addition to Stable!

The first time I started it up after getting it home put a big smile on my face. Loved the sound and seeing that 2-stroke smoke coming out of all four pipes. Can't wait to actually take it out on the road :D

    New Addition to Stable!

Well in stock form the HP numbers aren't that impressive. They were rated at around 90 HP from the factory and probably put out somewhere in the mid to high 70s at the rear wheel. However, it sounds phenomenal doing so :D
