Well I don't know for sure about the radiator, but it would probably be easier with it out of the way. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to reuse the exhaust gaskets. They are made out of copper. I have had the headers on my '06 on and off three times and still using the stock gaskets w/o any...

Glad to hear it worked out ok for you. I powder coated the pegs with the rubber bushings in them and they turned out ok as well.

#1. Not sure what the throttle issues are, but I doubt a full exhaust would help it. More than likely a fueling issue that would need a Dynojet Power Commander. #2. You're referring to the Fuel Cut Eliminator (FCE). It goes for $195 according to his site. I think Ivan will be discontinuing this...

Personally I would go for the PC V over the PC III, especially given the negligible difference in price. Good price here: https://www.motomummy.com/dynojet-powercommanders/dynojet-powercommander-v/ The PC V for the 2009 will work just fine for your 2007. That's what I'm using in my 2006.

Well I've test ridden the FJR a few times and it would be more comfortable for that sort of trip for sure.

In front is where I did mine. I put the washers right behind the bolts. As you tighten the bolts the washers will compress the rubber bushings and limit movement.

I will seriously consider this mod over the Winter. Need to finish my other projects first.

Yea, still have it. Haven't ridden it much. I have to check out the jetting on it. Think it's too rich. Top-end feels really flat and I think I have it jetted 162/165, which might be too rich for the SuperTrapp exhaust and pod filters.

Plenty of people with those three mods and not using a PC. I think there are certain mods that will definitely need the PC, i.e full exhaust, removed or smaller secondary throttle 'flies, etc. That being said a PC can help fine tune the fueling eve on a stock bike...

You're not supposed to reconnect it...you want the PC5 to control the fueling for you whether it's adding or reducing it.

You'll be very pleased with the results...
