    well, my latest set of PR4's has 5,000 street miles and 4 track days of medium group instructing on them. and they still have 50% life left. don't have an answer for you. maybe your pressures are too high, roads too rough, suspension not set up properly...talk to a tire dealer/michelin dealer...

    yeah no, thats 1/3 the life those tires get, even with track beatings they don't die that quickly.

    Rear brake dragging - SMS!

    make sure the rear set is position properly and not engaging the rear brake. you can put a spring on the mc to keep the brake lever pushed fully open in case its not. its not fluid doing that to you but something else not done right. test the caliper with it off the bike. or, just buy a new one...

    you realize your dynojet does more than the healtech right...and that its the same ignition cut style quickshifter, but without a sensor to actually do the shift for you. the only way you're going to get better is with a proper fuel and ignition cut quickshifter. for example, with a ftecu flash...

    Dunlop Roadsmart II

    how do they compare to PR4's? i've been getting between 9-12k miles on PR4's and they handle even up to a medium track pace well. however, they're not cheap, nor happy getting hot.

    2008 fz1 knocking sound at 4k-5k motor has 10k in it

    i've had 2 cam chain tensioners go out, similar sound as described but, without hearing it, who knows. take video of sound perhaps? however, a dyno tuner worth their salt should be able to tell you exactly what it is immediately

    been trying that for years, good luck. best bet? spray paint. or, proper paint, or powdercoating. no one wants these crap colored wheels unfortunately

    2008 GEN2 FZ1 gets 2004 R1 Front Forks and RC brakes+pump

    for the brake fluid reservoir bracket, i bought this https://www.kurveygirl.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=703&osCsid=c50ljr7b2t2tmjj8ju405ssih1 and just bent it to shape as needbe. and i gotcha on the forks, deals a deal! and it's still better than the standard FZ stuff!

    Who has a clutch review for me? Mine needs replacing

    Stick to OEM on clutches is what i always do, because i know it's reliable, and with the aftermarkets they're too inconsistent to make me justify saving the money since they are usually cheaper.

    well done with the pics. just a question though, why go with the old gen forks and not swap to the 07+ with the better brakes?
