    Headlight tape for track days

since my bikes black i use 2" black masking tape then just run a blade around the edges to cut it down to shape nicely, run credit card over creases and it comes out pretty clean. (when i actually take my street bike to the track once or twice a year) do not ever put duct tape straight on your...

    Low rpm spitting/stuttering

did you confirm the new "used" coil packs were proper? put temp gauge on each pipe as it warms up from cold. the one not the same temp as the others, is failing. it sounds like a failed coil pack. other option is yes, bad fueling stock is always bad.

Klurejr goes for the Iron Butt Challange - Bun Burner 1500

It's quite easy, start early, stay hydrated, snack on the road, i recommend a tank bag. i've done multiple 1,000-1,500 mile days including a few back to back...to back. In regards to the IB association, personally, i'd never give em a penny, i dont need a license plate holder or pin to prove i...

    Wtb 2012-15 ecu

compared to vcyclenut, ivans is a better product. personally for mail in ecu flashing, i recommend 2 wheel dynoworks giving the whole meal deal ecu flash package. fz1 people are very loyal to ivans and i'm sure, you'll get a lot of feedback saying he's the best. generally ivans doesn't...

Anyone know about learning to race?

a track day is absolutely the place to start. we just had our first track day of the season yesterday and it was a blast. check out the level 1 school, definitely worth it to find out where you are and what you can improve on. racing is a different animal. normally you're never near 100% at a...

How important is warming up the engine?

1000's warm up far faster than 600's. Give it 2-3 minutes, take it easy for the first few and you're good. To warm up a 600 properly it takes 7-10 minutes.

Anyone know about learning to race?

    Wtb 2012-15 ecu

I believe he has a zero downtime option for most bikes he does. Being in New York, Ivan's is much closer to you and is a better product. If not, ebay is your best bet, but those are averaging $350 a piece, here's the cheapest i found in my 5 second search though 2nd Gen Yamaha FZ1 ECU ECM...

Selling bike due to becoming a Parent?????

consider that in your situation you have practical benefits to a motorcycle. 99% of people on motorcycles, don't have that "reason" and many just make up an "excuse". bikes are basically hobbies, and families generally take precedence over hobbies.
