I just did the SpeedoDRD, I used the -6.9% and haven't rode yet, but looking forward to more accurate numbers!

They never really seemed to get it nailed down, you may have had an older model, but they have since changed manufacturers so the issue will most likely not continue. Besides, you are covered under warranty.

New driver is on the way. I saw the cutoff in my house, which doesn't do it justice, but it inspired me, I have two FX-R's coming to me, and I am going to update my headlight...

Sounds like the short one. Sorry, didn't think that you didn't know the different sizes. I will call up TRS, and see what I can do. Could you shoot me your address? EDIT, checked my PM's and got it.

Sounds like you may have fried the driver. Can you tell me if it is long or short? They have had some issues with drivers.

Riding pants, what do you wear?

I wear Icon Overlord textile pants. They are overpants, so I can wear them to work over my work clothes, and also just wear them as regular pants when out riding in my free time.

Yes, you can wire the angel eye directly to 12V. What makes you think you shorted something? If anything, you overloaded the driver (black cylinder). That is easily replaced. If you find that you can't make it work, let me know and I can get a replacement driver for you. Sent from my Transform...

fz1 great bike but to heavy

I agree with Hail. While it is heavier than an R1, it is still lighter than say an FZ8 and FZ6R and most likely an FZ6. Not sure how you expect to get such a big bike to be much lighter. The stock exhaust on the FZ1 is really heavy. If I had to guess, it would be close to 10-12 lbs, so there...

    swingarm sliders

I have the Shogun Carbon S5's. I can tell you that they will never help in an accident. They are just too short. The exhaust on the right side will hit before they do, and on the left side, I think that it wouldn't do much good either. I think they are more for rear stands than anything.

Installed HID Projectors with Angel Eyes!

Most serious retrofitters have switched away from CCFL, as they are fragile and difficult to work with, and have the inverter issue. I will only install LED angel eyes, will not deal with CCFL, as I see no gain there. LED is the way to go, they are making them so much better, and much easier...

His is a special situation as he wanted an FX-R projector in his headlight, which is much larger than the Mini H1 or Mini D2S projectors. Those should fit with no issues. Let me know when you are ready, and I can either do it for you, or hook you up with the parts to do it yourself.
