 I'm in if someone can setup a group buy (or any option to get one to me here in the US.)

New look with full fairings, grips, and ceramic coated exhaust...

Yes, they do help with the vibrations, especially compared to the billet Rizoma grips I had. But they are much thicker, too, which takes a little getting used to. But I'm happy with them.:noworries:

New look with full fairings, grips, and ceramic coated exhaust...

It's still a work in progress, but thanks everyone for all the comments! It's a regular length - some prefer the extra space, but I usually sit more forward anyway so I got the regular and it's worked out great. BTW, I got them reworked with the gel inserts - very comfy and my butt is now...

New look with full fairings, grips, and ceramic coated exhaust...

Not through with the planned changes, but thought I'd share a few pics after installing a set of OEM full fairings, some Kuryakyn ISO grips, and ceramic coating the exhaust:

    Looking for FZ1 Belly pan

I'd take $225 for it shipped. The Yamaha part number is ABA-3C308-10-02 - it's in good shape, no scratches, includes all parts along with original instructions. Older picture with it installed:

    Looking for FZ1 Belly pan

I have a Yamaha OEM one in Granite Grey - I took it off when I got some full lower fairings. If interested, I can take some fresh pics.

Ceramic coated my stock header and Suono

Thanks for the replies everyone... The ceramic coat for the header and slip-on cost me $200 - a little more than what it would have costed for powder coating, but ceramic coating (to me) is more for performance than durability because of the heat risistance properties. That said, it's really...

Ceramic coated my stock header and Suono

It's not paint - they were first sand blasted and then had high temperature cermaic coating baked on at *3NIGMA Motorsports - Home I just revited the Suono back together and mounted everything up.

Ceramic coated my stock header and Suono

Had my OEM header and MIVV Suono (disassembled) ceramic coated - turned out pretty cool (and I also discovered how much fun rivet guns could be...)

What did you do to your FZ today?

Compared to the original PR1s, these have all kinds of grip and are much more comfortable on the street. Turn-in is great, but I also went with a 190/55 R17 in back so it may not be a fair comparison. I'm still tweaking my suspension settings with the taller tire, but it I'm really glad I...

FZ1 Top Saddlery seat installed! (More pics added)

I would NOT change anything on mine. Default length and height were fine for me, but I would definately get the gel inserts again. Although the custom options take longer / cost more, I think it was worth it to have the exact style and materials I wanted.

Thanks sam - it's a work in progress... My windscreen is from CopperDawg - CD speed screen. As for my upgrades, it's almost too many items to list: CopperDawg Speed Screen and painted radiator covers; Ride Engineering fender eliminator; Shogun frame and swingarm sliders and axle spools...

    1000 cc, Why?

Interesting thread... First off, I do not pass on a double yellow either - I'm just not in THAT much of a rush... I do admit that I'll drop the hammer a little more often than I should, but I'm normally a cautious rider. Top speed is not important to me, just acceleration... Second, this...
