Fantastic!
WooHoo! Thanks for the votes folks!
Doesn't seem that long ago ms.Fuzz looked like this but she's BACK!
*Only posted the small version Hail so if you need a bigger one, let me know.
She aint no DP but does ok in the dirt with the upright position and wide tyres. It's rocks and slime she doesn't like and that's what turned us around on this mountain pass.
Was with a mate on a SDR that also likes hunting out link roads. Some prefer to coin them escape routes should things...
She's back!
Actually had it back on the road several months ago but with the old touring screen and red front cowl. Did the job but... . now she looks the biz again
Played around with moving the zumo above the gauges, didn't work :shame:
Did play around with the maps a bit recently...
Wow, fair bit fire in this thread. Seems to be plenty of 'tree falling in the forest' type thinkin too.
I don't have my centre stand on as I have a race stand and got sick of feeling it under my left heal. On occassion it did scrape when hooked under my heal. At least I think it could have...
Hey there CB.
Well, thought while the front end was off anyway that it might be cool to try the R1triple tree combo to match the forks and brakes. So, doing some ghetto mods to the R1 top clamp to get that to work. Should be interesting to see how the geometry change and extra front end height...

Removed the whole front end and discovered bent forks, triple tree, top bridge, Rizoma riser bolt and a broken bottom bearing race! Nasty stuff
Next Sunday it all goes back together with replacement parts ;-)
For the tear down, employed the services of two mates...
Anyone know if the FZ1 and FZ6 meters are the same or not? They have different part numbers, both look like the one below but are they actually different on the inside?
Bones and bikes heal. Glad to hear you're ok and you were dressed for the crash even after 25years.
Maybe lucky you were knocked out though. 25lb of tenderised turkey grilled on a scorching header could tempt the best of us ;-)
Kevlar jeans offer abrasion resistance ONLY!
Having crashed in Kevlar jeans and cargos I can honestly say they are disposable abrasion resistors. Both(Aussie Draggins) had holes/tears and the cargos were structurally finished. I thought the world of them for saving my skin and as I was wearing...
I use the Powerlet and Warm'n'safe gear. They go on sale at various times of the year and you may want to check mishacycles for good prices on powerlet. PM him and see what he can do for a fellow FZ1 rider.
Had to send gloves back for repairs once(powerlet not misha) and they replaced them no...
