Nice find, welcome to the forum. lots of info here on what to check to get it up and running. I'd also check the coolant and fork oil/seals while you are at it.

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you are well on your way to a well sorted fz. One word of caution. Check the fit of that K&N filter. There were fitment issues on a lot of them. I switched mine due to the airbox not being able to close properly.

yep, winter in the northern hemisphere has really slowed it down. perfect riding for us down here and winter doesn't really slow us down unless it's bucketing down... no snow here.

Glad you got it sorted. If you did get stuck and had to buy a new ECU, get one from the states, they don't use the imobilizer, so you don't need the chip in your key for them!
