On my FZ1 I simply resprung and revalved the stock forks and they work well enough to bevel my footpegs off @ a 45 degree angle. Tha AK's have been recomended to me by some friends who ride faster than me. I am in a good financial place right now so I figured WTF why not see how the really good...

It's funny when I bought the R1 I was actually going there to pic up a 07 GSXR 750 but when the salesman fired it up I noticed it was burning oil... So I bought the super clean R1 instead! BTW I have a living room full of Traxxion suspension!

Why such a stiff spring? Are you going to track the bike? I ask because I am a heavy rider who likes to ride at a good clip and I only run .95's up front. BTW I love you taking the time to document this!
