i've got this muffler (thanks previous owner!) & it's awesome, but be careful if your bike spends a long periods of time outdoors in the sun as the "wet look" carbon gets pretty dull pretty quickly. :shine:
well i did some investigating and it seems the sludge is a huge buildup of chain crud thats flicked off the front sprocket and deposited itsself down near the kickstand!
Problem easily solved with a can of degreaser :D
Now I’ve introduced myself over in the newbie section, I’ve got a couple of questions for you guys!
First off, my bike is the Naked 2006 model. The bloke who owned it before me had it for commuting occasionaly and a Triumph Sprint as his weekend bike. Meaning that the FZ is in near mint...
Thanks guys,
Yep the ducati had its merits, but as an everyday bike it's just too heavily biased towards the track.
It was magic in the twisties, but over an hour & it was phtsically painful!
spent 5 hours in the saddle of the FZ on the weekend & its just as much fun & nothing hurts...
G'day, Just got my 06 FZ1N last week!
Having come from a Ducati 749, its a real breath of fresh air to ride a big naked again (used to have a speed triple) & i'm stoked to be able to ride for more than 30 mins without sore back, neck, wrists and burnt nads!
Took it for a blast through...
