How about a Gen 2 Yosh. It's very quiet with the Db killer in, and not real loud with it out...You'd have to have a gen 1 midpipe...Tha main thing is that it's considerably shorter than gen 1 pipes.
A friend had these made for me quite a while back. They just sat around, waiting for me to have time to install them. Yesterday, I found the time. The difference is night and day! Just thought I'd share. Thanks Don!

Welcome Actungtwister John. I always liked those older Fazers, wish I could find one somewhere at a decent price. Enjoy your new ride, but remember, if you are right handed, you'll sign the ticket with the same hand that got you the ticket...Just tell that hand "NO TICKETS!" and you'll be fine...

It's a gen1.
5.5 gallon tank. Running 16/46 gearing and cruising around 70 to 75mph. Has Ivans jet kit, a 3 degree timing advacer, and a yosh TRS slip-on. That's about it. Oh yeah, a modded airbox with a BMC filter. It's just always got good gas mileage.;)

I've put about 40 miles on mine after the light came on, but scared I would be pushing it to the gas station. Around here, if you run out of gas, you either push it to a gas station, or call someone to bring you some gas. If you walk to the station for a can and some gas, your bike won't be...
