Nice Mustang!
Here's one for you car guys...
This belongs to a guy I know...1978 (I think) Ford Fairmont sedan with a turbocharged Chevy LSX It's a beast!

I'll have to send these videos to a friend of mine. He's an attorney with a racing habit :D
He races a 1978 ford Fairmont sedan powered by a turbocharged Corvette motor. Serious sleeper!

Fun bike, but that seat is a pain in my 48 year old...
Thing is, those were not polished. That's the way they look with the black paint removed. Nicely machined outer surface. The rough areas, I painted red.
Was a simple weekend job, and cost about 20 bucks.
Loved that bike...one of the best I've ever had!
If you're on here and thinking about a FZ1 and have a BMW Roadster to get rid of...hit me up.
I have a low mileage 2008 model-granite gray, scorpion slip on, and Corbin seats.
I know it's a long shot, but what the hell.
Yep, I've seen that video.
Never been towed around by anything that big yet. Just waiting for the day when an alligator takes the bait instead of a fish...that'll be a ride, for sure! Afraid I'd soil me britches if that ever happens!
Magpie-
Wonder how many FZ owners on here also are kayakers??
I paddle a Native Watercraft Manta Ray 14. I fish from my kayak here in South Louisiana. You fish or just a paddler?
If you fish or need anything kayak related, there is a place in Wildwood, NJ called the Kayak Fishing...
I just bought mine from Batterystuff.com:
YTZ14S Battery | Scorpion 12 Volt Motorcycle Batteries
69 bucks, free shipping, and had it in two days!
I've ordered from them before, and service is always excellent. :unworthy:
Did ya sell your FZ, or just don't find the Corbin fits you?
Reason I ask, is that I have a Sargent front and a Corbin rear seat, and I'd like to have a Corbin front for a matched pair.
My Sargent seat is also carbon fiber material if you'd be interested in an even trade.
I'm F'n prompt as usual. :doh2:
To tell ya a bit about the group over at VFRD...a few years ago Miguel was on his way to a memorial ride for a fallen member of the forum and had a run in with a car in Tennessee. A whole bunch of the forum members pooled donations together for months to buy...
Ever since the new guy from Tenn. (I think) posted about wanting to go to an FZ1 from a viffer I've been having thoughts of contacting him. So far, I've resisted. The V Fource is strong with me. Hahaha
You'll like the bunch over at VFRD. Every bit as friendly as this forum.
I had a 2002,VTEC VFR, and I loved that bike. I've owned four VFRs over the years plus an ST1100 and an ST1300, so it goes to show how I feel about the Honda V4s.
The VFR is such an easy bike to ride. I like the linked brakes, but some don't. The sound, the feel, & the look of the VFR are...
