You don't seem to have ruled out the kinked fuel line? Mine had exactly the same issues you have along with a suspected faulty FCE throwing a fault 19. Regardless of the fault code, the £8 fuel line paired with a new FCE and it was like a totally new bike with absolutely no idling issues.

Are any fault codes displayed when you start the bike?

Check under the tank for a kinked fuel line. Is the engine management light on when you start the bike? Any fault codes showing on the bikes display?

What mods does your FZ1 have?

The 8mm went on great! 7mm would have probably been a nicer fit but with the clamp, the 8mm ain't going anywhere!

Thanks, 6mm is far too small and wasn't happy with leaving it short of the end... Just cut the other end off and sliced through the little blue washer.... F*CK!!! Just tried to glue it back on, see how that sets..

Has anyone managed to get their 6mm ID hose past this point...? And yes, that is blood on my finger!

Hi Ivan, Have checked everything and it has got to be a bad FCE. Sadly the guy who put the FCE on cut the wires so close to the pugs etc so that will be fun to remove! Going to remove the FCE and untie the flies while the tank is off. Once I save up some pennies (hopefully before next summer)...

Are there specific bolts to the chassis you are referencing to? I don't know where they are but could find them with some pointers ;) Will grease the terminals on the battery as a starting point. It's also an old battery so may change that completely instead ...
