Anyone ever notice on their Gen II that the right side mirror (when sitting on the bike) appears higher than the left side? I just noticed this... It also looks like the plastic fairings might be uneven.

The instructions kind of suck. How does this fit? I'm confused with how to wrap the elastic cord. Thanks!

I'm talking about the small plastic (sort of carbon fiber-ish) looking pieces at the bottom of the tank on each side. I don't see a screw holding them on. I'm trying to install a Targa tank cover. Thanks!
