Hi, I've had this on a couple of Gen 1's and it's not uncommon if the oil drops by just a small amount, this is because the sensor for the oil light is very sensitive. Lots of guys including myself have had a heart stopping moment when this happens but a very small top up will cure the problem...
This guy with the pick up appeared insenced having been overtaken on a double yellow and although biker number one broke the law in doing so it didn't give matey the right to try and kill him.
I personaly will not overtake on double lines but know lots that do and as far as i'm concerned it's...
Had a 1050 sprint on an 06 plate and found it a great all rounder with lovely lines. I decided to go for the Trident replacement sports exhaust and had her mapped to suit, sounded owesome and finished the rear end off a treat.
Then came my first ride out with my son on his Gen1 FZS, and my...
"Great news. So how long did you have the bike before this accident? If I were held up that long I know it would be all I thought about. Well, that and mango habanero buffalo wings! "

Tomorrow will be a year to the day when I had my serious accident, it happened at work when an upright upper floor supporting beam toppled over on to me folding me in half. Luckily someone phoned for the local air ambulance which arrived in minutes. They got me to hospital in eleven minutes a...
Hi acim, some smashing pic's you have posted showing a well presented bike, I to have fairing lowers on my machine and i m o they really set it off.

Erick, as has already been said, if you want comfort and performance then it's got to be the FZ1. I once swapped bikes for a morning with a mate who loves his R1 and quite honestly was glad to swap back keys at the end of the ride. At the end of the day you pays your money and makes your choice...
Still got the stock seat fitted and have no problem with it at all despite being told that I would not find it comfortable after my previous gen1 armchair seating:wazzup:
Most of the things have been covered allready but can I suggest that you check the exup valve is working okay as they have a habit of sticking and are very often neglected due to not being part of a service.
Make sure that the securing bolts are not seized because if they are there is a good...

My baby with a scorpion replacement can, she can now breath properly and what a difference it's made with the f.c.e fitted it's a well sorted bike.
nearly as good as the carb'ed gen I.
Hi Adam, I owned a Gen 1 for four years covering close to 37 k in that time whilst pleasure riding including two French trips.
Then in March this year I changed to a Gen 2 hopeful that I wouldn't be disappointed in so much that it would have to be extremely good to match up and compare with...
Have to agree with Polestar sentiments, although i.m.o. Triumph do make an excellent bike with the ST Sprint, after riding one for six months i went back to the four cylinder motor of Yamaha :woot: because it's hard to beat.
Yes I'll definitely be sticking with my FZ1S thank you very much :)
