I just replaced my Pilot Road 4 after 13,616 miles - which included a track day an my first Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000. Probably could have stretched it quite a bit more, but I decided to have a little fun.

Finally got around to installing a Motodynamic (smoked) tail light in my 2009. I love the look of the progressive signals, and feel that the brake flashes before solid add a little safety. Plus it's one (two?) Less thing to tape when I take the bike to the track on the 20th now that I've removed...

You're not going to be able to lock your jacket and bike with just a disc lock. Have you considered going with just a straight-up cable and padlock approach? Might be easier to store. Save your fingers and just rotate the rear tire by hand with the bike off and in neutral. I've heard too many stories (and seen a few pictures) about people getting fingers caught in sprockets. Flesh and bone will lose to steel every time! Sent from Tapatalk on my Note 4.

Loved my Motodynamic integrated tail light on my old Gen II. I'll get around to installing one on the "new" bike sometime soon. Had several people tell me the quick strobes before solid was really eye catching on braking. I think the progressive signals are cool, but they might be too close...
