sounds like you're talking about the rubber inserts where the ends of the cam shafts are between the head and valve cover. No idea why they would pop out. I would remove the valve cover and make sure they are seated correctly
I have the c3, it's much softer material (like a dense neoprene) and the diamond texture isn't as deep. the snake skin are more aggressive, larger diamonds and a harder material. I think the pad itself is thinner with c3 as cookie said
I have the clear alternatives light too. It is indeed grounded through the brake/running light plug. just cap off the grounds for the signal wires that you won't be using and it will work fine! I just helped a friend hook up a integrated light on an fz09 and his was the same way
I was getting annoyed with the lack of a helmet lock on this bike. Dropped my helmet a couple times trying to get it on/off, when using the little rear seat pegs and closing it through the d-rings. So I fabricated my own. Cut a small notch out of the rear plastic but its unnoticeable when the...

i just added braided lines and came across the same concern. i just added about an inch of corrugated plastic tubing around the lines before i ziptied them. it allows the lines to slide through when turning and so forth but keeps them in place
Last weekend I went into the local motorcycle store for a new front tire. Couldn't help but purchase some spiegler stainless steal brake lines that were on clearance. Yesterday I decided to plasti dip the exhaust can and it turned out great. Now time for a ride!! :sport12:
Happy Memorial Day...
Parting it out seems like way to much work to make twenty dollars here and there until we recoup some money. I'd rather just have it running get rid of it quick and get it out of my garage
i agree its not worth a whole lot, even in mint condition. but its worth next to nothing as it is. seriously, the scrap metal might be worth more than what it could be sold for as is lol. but its worth a whole lot more than nothing if i get it running and just get rid of it. recouping some money...
