5000k HID Projectors Started last night, finished this morning. Morimoto Xb35 5000k Projectors. Painted the reflectors flat black along with the projector shrouds. So far they seem much brighter than stock. Bring on the night!

Mirrors Yeah, the mirrors do look funny. The whole front of the bike looks kind of like a weird bug in that picture. However, from other angles or pictures that include the whole bike it looks more normal. I like the look of some bar end mirrors, just not sure I want to go that route.

Yoshimura TRC Love it! Actually did this a couple days ago. Just haven't been able to get off of the bike since then. Next up projector headlights and gear indicator.

Proton flush mounts My proton flush mounts had built in resistors that kept the blink rate close to normal. Simple installation as well. When I was looking for replacement turn signals not all of them were wired for running lights. Might be something to keep an eye out for.

Tank bag. I tried out a couple tank bags and found the Cortech Super 2.0 18 liter had the best fit, finish, size. The original bag I tried was too long @ 16.5 inches. The Cortech bag fits perfectly on the handlebars while refueling. The magnets are strong and I haven't noticed the bag shifting...

Hjc rpha-10 This is hands down the best helmet I've owned. It fits my oddly shaped head perfectly, extremely well vented. And it looks great in matte black! Ultimately for me it comes down to comfort.

My FZ1 no longer has safety stickers. Today I removed all of the safety stickers, got a tag for it since I've had it less than a week. And I put a nice tank pad on! Got a nice sunburn while I was at it. Still deciding which turn signals and fender eliminator I want. Any ideas!?

South Alabama! Hey all, I'm Steve. I live in Mobile AL, and have purchased a 2013 FZ1. So far I have put about 50 miles on it. And I love it! Clean precise power. Even for only accessing the lower end of the power band, and scrubbing in the tires I am very impressed with every aspect of the bike.
