My GPS confirms your observation - stock gearing and rubber. FWIW, this will change slightly as the rear tire wears. Throw it all out for non-standard tires/gearing.
My thoughts exactly. Bought one recently for skiing, and find it works just fine for riding as well - at least for the occasional 40 degree day down here in FL.
