Hi everyone,
Another newbie stepped in to say Hi!
I ride a 2005 FZ 1, bought her in spring (it was pre-owned, with 19K miles).
Finally joined your community.
Cheers!
Long time lurker, I have a '08 FZ1 that's long overdue for fork maintenance. Have 53k miles on it, still runs really well. No fork leaks but it's time for a teardown.
I have all the stock internals and will be going with a stiffer spring (Racetech 1.0kg). There are revalve options such as...

The spring in my left footrest spring has broken :(
Any of you guys who have changed your rearset or footrests interested in doing a deal? The parts catalogue doesn't show the spring by itself and I don't know how common they are.
I'm relatively heavy at 225lbs without gear. I also plan to take my wife for rides frequently and she is roughly 145 lbs.
I, by myself, max out the rear suspension or at least the spring.
I don't have a lot of money to spend but I do want to set the bike up right.
What are your...
Hi everyone,
Soon I will change the oil in the forks as Yamaha raccomends having it changed every 5 years, so my question is did anyone change the stock springs with the Ohlins ones? Any feedback would be appreciated positive or negative, since the price of the set is around 130 Euros / 150$...
