I have seen couple of threads talking about FZ1 fork conversion to R1 forks with radially mounted calipers. The general advice is to go for 08+ R1 front forks with triple calipers and change complete Front brake - Master Cylinder, Calipers, etc.
However, I was looking at this Yamaha FZ1 Abarth, a concept bike having Ohlins suspension with Brembo monobloc calipers and am surprised to find the same Master cylinder, same brake lining (1 to 2) as FZ1. My question is - how is this possible ? Are Brembo's only 2 caliper sets ? Is this adequate ?
