3D Printing!!!

I had seen this before and it is very amazing! I wish they had explained how they scanned and then defined the separate pieces so that the printer knew what to bind and what not to bind.

Jay Leno has a segment from a while ago where he'd broken a valve on one of his old steam cars. He took the two broken parts to a place like this where they glued it together, scanned it, printed a new one that was then used to create a metal casting where the guy made a few spares for Jay.

Friend of mine wants to get a 3d printer -- obviously not anywhere near the quality of that one, but technology is amazing.

Are you kidding me? That was the most amazing thing I have seen in a long time. My wife said, "What are you watching?" My response is something that will change the world we live in. That's almost like cloning. Can we fit Megan Fox in that printer?
