Accident Bike: Keep or get rid of it

Just tore the bike apart, gas tank, air box. Took the thermostat out and boiled it, looks like it opens up around 180 F, so it seems to be working. Unless this radiator is messed up, it’s probably the water pump.
Is it normal for the coolant hoses to be caked in brown stuff? Maybe that’s why it’s overheating, I just didn’t flush right?

The inside or the outside is caked in brown stuff? if it is inside that brown stuff could be clogging up the cooling fins and stopping the flow as well. The radiator is pretty easy to remove, might want to pull it off and force flush it with water and see if you have flow.
