Airbag suit? really?

While looking into the possibility of some riding leathers i stumbled upon this... verrry interesting. I was expecting something a bit more impressive. Also the crash demonstrated is probably a best case scenario.. but how do you think the suit would hold up against worst case scenario? In my imagination it doesnt play out so well.

I think in that type of wreck he would have come out just as well without the airbag jacket. The most dangerous wrecks are generally high-side wrecks where the rider t-bones a car and I don't see this jacket doing any good in these situations.

I saw this thing what seems like a long time ago. Haven't seen one for sale yet. That should tell ya somethin'... Great idea, but looks like it would only help with neck injuries. Maybe :confused0024: They are probably just trying to corner the (future) market with patents and such.

I swear I have seen one that offered more protection than the one shown here. I think I remember the Torso being protected as well. It seems to discharge pretty quick but like Raven said, I'd like to see what it would do in a high side crash as well. Any extra protection is better than no protection at all. I'm just imagining whether it's affordable to regular bums like me.
