O.K., been asking a lot of questions.... little response. Anyone do an AIS removal? Anyone have a video..... tanks gotta come off? How about installing a +4 advancer.... need to drain the oil?

Tank has to come off, coolant drained, and radiator removed. If you use the Ivan's kit I believe your headers need to be removed. If you use holeshots they do not. For the timing advancer, just put it on its kickstand to make sure no oil runs out, but you will need a gasket for the cover.
If you're buying the holeshot kits they come with very detailed instructions.

I seriously don't remember removing the tank when I did mine. Regardless, there is a petcock underneath so just close it and don't worry. Just a rag when or if you remove the fuel line.

You could just remove the front bolt of the tank, lift if up and hold it there with a prop rod if you don't want to remove the fuel lines. It makes removing the pipes easier.

Still have to pull the radiator to get at the four tubes in the pipes though?
