I bought an FZ1 that had the passenger peg assemblies removed. Didn't pick them up from the previous owner in time and he tossed them. Looking at OEM replacements and they are about $150 each without pegs or mounting hardware.
Im not even sure if my girlfriend is going to be comfortable on the Z, and have been thinking about picking up an FJR or something bigger to take her on trips. I would still like to test it out, but without dropping $400+. Seems like Gen 1 passenger peg brackets are plentiful and cheap, but Gen 2 used are pretty hard to come by.
Could I buy any form of aftermarket peg assembly that would fit? Does anybody know how I would check? As long as the two mounting bolts are spaced the same distance apart it should work, right?
Doesn't really need to look pretty, just be functional. Im thinking there has to be other bikes with the same spacing between the mounting holes. Curious if anybody has any solutions here
