Well, today I was riding home and I finally had the first ground contact with the FZ. Granted, the centerstand is lower than specified, but it sealed the dark for me to remove it.

I'm not getting overly confident with my abilities, but I'm starting to push myself more and more.

Anyone got some things to suggest as trying to do to worm on overall techinique? Tk further help build confidence?

Okay, I had to read that twice. I am assuming that because of maybe your rearsets that your centerstand is lower than a normal FZ1. That being the case, I understand it touching down. Oh, and Congrats on that! I haven't dragged anything on a bike for about 15/20 years now but when those 016's come.....Different story altogether!! I'm gonna relive my youth!! I can get my knee down to about 5 or so inches from the pavement with my 6000+ mile Bridgestones now, so I figure that I shouldn't have a problem when the new set arrives. Of course I'll have video to support my accusation. LOL.
