Hello All,

I got into riding on the street again about 6 months ago when a good friend gave me a 1992 Kawisaki Concours. It a fine bike, but at 5'6" it's a bit tall and heavy for my wants and needs. So after lot's of research I had a short list of bikes that appeared to be a good fit for me.

I ended up with a used 2007 FZ1 and I am very pleased with my purchase. The bike is completely stock other than the taller windscreen I put on it last week. My next purchase for the bike will be hard bags to make it more versitile for my needs.
 
Hi Loosenut, defitely a good decision made...and welcome.

How's the weather over there? I need to remove the roadsalt every time I come back from a ride here :mad:....
 
Thanks for the warm welcome. Currently, my bike looks like the bike in the upper left-hand corner of this site. I haven't taken any photos of the bike yet. I had a chance to buy a red '06 with Givi side bags and a Corbin Smugler trunk, but I did not like the trunk. Fugly, too small and no room for the occasional ride with the wife.

Keep the rubber side down guys!
