another clutch cable question.

tried to lube up my clutch cable tonight.
but the lube leaked out the mid point adjuster. but not on the threads, at the end of the housing outer housing at the adjuster.
would some heat shrink "fix" this leak? new cable?

These are excellent kits and the guy who sells them is very easy to deal with. I have used them on six bikes now, highly recommended.
