Anybody in Kansas?

Dragon Run

Wish I could go with you to the Dragon. Word of caution........ you're better off going in the middle of the week as this stretch of road gets very busy on weekends and the local law enforcement prey on the area. Speed limit is fairly low (35mph) but with the crowds, that's all you'll be able to do anyway.

Be careful. Have a safe trip.

Sort like Bogus Basin road here in Boise... :) (Only it's just on the other side of town, and has an elevation change from 2800ft to over 6000ft. :) )

I think the Dragon has way more trees, but Bogus Basin road has the view for sure. :)

There is very little straight road for sure... LOL

Then again, the best local road in Idaho from Boise is here:

Basicly, the section of 21 just South of Lowman is awesome. You can spend all day riding around up here. But, for a nice day cruise, you can take 21 North of Boise, hang a left and go West at Lowman over to 55, and then South via Eagle to the Boise area. (Takes about 4 hours at a sedate pace, but can be done in under 3 if you don't mind breaking the law from time to time... LOL)

Very awesome mountain and valley views, as well as challenging roads. Watching for loose rocks on the road is key to survival. Deer at dusk and dawn as well. Of course, RV's and other road obstructions are always a good idea.
