Anyone else had an awesome ride today?

I had a great ride yesterday (Saturday May 2), but on my WR250R.

I rode to Wolcott, Colorado, up Highway 131 to Colorado River Road (CRR), to Burns, CO, Derby Mesa Loop back to CRR, to Dotsero and reversed to home.

It was a mixture of twisty pavement and two lane dirt.

Here's my route if you're interested:

That looks like an interesting route. Must have been a fun ride for sure.

This past week but sunday in particular we had some beautiful weather. It was 70° very little humidity and wall to wall blue skys. This will be one of my fonder memories of riding the FZ

Weather looks clear for a ride today. Temps in western Mass only expected to hit 50 F. The heated gear has been helpful this spring.

May fliys are out in North East and when it hits around 60 degrees it sounds like riding through sleet, When I get off the bike I end up with swarms of regular flies wanting to eat the carcasses of May flys off my helmet. Everyone’s gotta eat I guess. May try to do some dirt roads before the Green Head Flys (Deer Flies) come out. No question they are the worst. There’s no stopping when they are around.

I guess that makes me Lord of the Flys maybe Food of the Flys is more accurate. .
