Does anyone know if this is stock, or was done by the owner? If so, im guessing you have to basically rip the entire bike down to paint it?

The frame is what carries the VIN.... new frame = new VIN... but, if you're going to go through the trouble of changing the frame... pulling everything off of one bike.. and putting it onto another... just have what you've got powdercoated.... pull everything off... strip it all down... go have it done... and get EVERYTHING done... not just the main frame component like Yamaha does.

Take a look at all of the stuff Yamaha leaves silver... frame covers, footpegs, swingarm... etc.

IMHO on the silver bike the gray frame looks fine. I know the black frame looks good too, but PapaGeno21 if you're looking to get your bike to look like that one it will be a lot of work.
