Congratulations to Billy for his nomination of the '06 Ducati being last month's BOM winner. 1000 credits will be added to his account for use throughout the forum.

1st place: 1000 credits
2nd place: 500 credits
3rd Place: 250 credits

If your submission falls within the top 3, after the poll has closed, you can expect to have the amount of credits added to your account. (So if you take all three, 1750 credits will be deposited into your user account.)

Post up your submissions for next month....and remember to include a brief description of your submission.

Thanks very much! I can't believe I actually won something. It was fun participating. Imagine if each active member entered a bike, how many we would have to choose from. I am gonna try to find something better for this month, just wait. Thanks again. Billy.

I don't know what it is, but I keep trying to find a picture of the '09 Yamaha R1 and the picture always ends up being removed. So I'll have to keep looking, but in the meantime, I've tried to find a substitute. Hopefully it works out......

Now that I come to think of it....I might be feeding the addiciton for the casino by waving free money around....but if that is what it takes!

(and please don't delete these like ya did last month.....:poke:)

Still on board for the Daytona 675, but I'm also starting to :drools: over the Aprilias...

BTW Billy, you gave me the idea of how to permanently keep it R1 posted. Instead of me using the link from the web page and having them delete it. I save it to photobucket and I am the only one who can delete the picture.

Thanks for the posts va_rider and Enigma!

More member participation = less time trying to find bikes (although somehow I don't think it'll stop me searchin' around, it just adds to the list....)

Stompgrip

Hey Aaron....does the stompgrip cause alot of wear/tear on jeans?? Asking in the since of daily commuting, since we can't always have twisties to ride to work on a daily basis like yourself....

Thanks,
Adam

Just saw this...

Wearing jeans, the StompGrip well.... hurts. It encourages you to wear your leathers at all times... if you're hard on the brakes while wearing jeans, and holding onto the tank with your knees, the StompGrip will dig into the skin a bit.... even in leathers, where the StompGrip contacts the leathers has kind of turned white... from rubbing on the StompGrip...

I wouldn't advise riding in jeans period... but with the StompGrip... it can get a little painful.

Well, the majority of my riding has been daily commuting and have to go at least 45 mins to reach any twisties (that fail in comparision from what I've seen in your videos)

I just keep inching forward, despite using my legs on the tank. I also think that I need to remove some of my material out of my seat to give me a flatter position.....

do the mods ever really stop??
