Cat

Hello new here , but not new to the FZ1 . I have a question reguarding the cat on a 2005 FZ1, wondering what would happen if i gutted out the cat ? Would I have to jett it or something . I have a couple aftermarket thing on the bike from holeshot and a slip on . Please help thanks !

on the 2005, there is no cat.

aaaaaahhh, what is that box that the slip on goes into then under the bike ?

That's the EXUP valve.

now... the EXUP does have to be adjusted / cleaned / taken care of on a regular basis... do a quick search here, and you'll find a nice write-up with pictures explaining the whole process.
