chain question

not sure if im in the right area but here goes.......after a horrific and trying day of changing tires and sprockets im now at a complete stand still as i do not have the proper EXPENSIVE tool to install my new chain  so ive been looking around the net and found that ek makes a screw type masterlink that they say works as well as the rivet type masterlink, but have found no where that i can use it on my 530drg sunstar chain......any body know if this is safe and acceptable to do....or is there a super secret way of doing the chain swap without buying a 140$ tool?
thanks in advance :kuku:

I know that some from the other forum have gotten creative using a drift/ball pean hammer.

The only other solution I can think of is have a shop drive the rivet to connect the chain and remove the swing arm to be able to thread the front sprocket.

Good Luck.
